LIVING FILMING ARCHITECTURES

"Living Filming Architectures" is a film workshop led by Alfonso Zarauza, held at the A Coruña delegation of COAG. Alfonso Zarauza is one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Galician cinema, known for works such as *ONS* and *Os Fenómenos*.

 

When we talk about cinema, the circular shape immediately brings to mind the lenses or objectives of the cameras, which capture and represent the world through that circle. However, the circle is commonly used in both architecture and cinema, not only in a technical or compositional sense but also as a symbol. It represents concepts like the eternal, the cyclical, and the perfect, but depending on the context, it can also symbolize the inescapable or the closed, offering multiple layers of interpretation.
